Erik Menendez and Lyle Menendez, who are currently serving life sentences without the possibility of parole for the murders of their parents, received a resentencing update in Los Angeles April 11. The judge rejected Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman’s motion to withdraw the petition for resentencing, meaning the brothers’ case will continue April 17 to determine their fate.
